Identity Theft and Fraud

According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, National Public Radio and other reputable new sources a "ghost student" is a fictitious student profile using personal information from real people created by fraudsters to access resources and funding from educational institutions. These fake identities are often used to obtain financial aid, grants, or scholarships, without the intention of actually attending classes.

Normandale Community College takes this very seriously and we are dedicated to combatting and intercepting these ghost students.  Unfortunately, there are times when our efforts are unsuccessful so we have developed protocols to assist you in reversing the impact this has had on you.
