The Normandale Cares Emergency Grant allows students who are experiencing an unexpected financial emergency that they cannot afford to apply for an up to $500 emergency grant per academic year, to allow them to focus on their academic goals.
Normandale Cares Emergency Grant Application Link
- You must be a student currently taking classes at Normandale to qualify.
- Students are eligible for a maximum of one $500 emergency grant each academic year (fall through summer). If you received an emergency grant from Normandale Fall 2025 you cannot receive another emergency grant Spring 2026.
- Funding is not granted to cover tuition, fees, textbooks, or course materials as these are not considered unexpected expenses.
- Awards are based on availability of funding.
- If you are taking courses at multiple Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, you should request funding through your home school.
- PSEO students are not eligible to receive Normandale Cares grant funding. If you are a PSEO student in need of basic needs support contact the Student Resource Center.
