Kopp Center

The Kopp Student Center is so much more than just a building; it is the living room of campus and the heart of student and community life at Normandale.

The Kopp is home to many services, amenities and programs including; the Student Senate, Normandale Program Board, Phi Theta Kappa, The Zone-Club Area, Student Life and Student Center offices.

This vibrant and welcoming space creates an atmosphere of belonging and engagement for students, staff and community partners.

The Kopp features expansive lounging space with an inviting fireplace, seven conference rooms, a multi-purpose event space, The Text Book Depot and Campus Store, a tiered performance area, flat-screen TVs, and a campus dining area. Enjoy the extraordinary view of the Normandale Japanese Garden from the upper level or take a stroll as the entrance is right out back of the Kopp.  What a place to hang out!

What Can you Do at the Kopp?

Not only is the Kopp Center a great space to hang out and connect with your peers, it also offers many services.  Visit the Information Desk at the Kopp for information and a wide variety of services including:

  • Picking up your Normandale ID Card
  • Grabbing your FREE Universal Bus Pass (Not available summer session)
  • Purchasing stamps and movie passes
  • Obtaining change or vending refunds
  • Sending and receiving a fax
  • Retrieving an item from Lost and Found
  • Requesting to rent facilities
  • Obtaining approval for posters, flyers and other literature
  • Finding the answers to many questions
  • Get more information on joining a club or starting one at The Zone

Your Normandale ID Card is the official campus ID. Your number will never change and will stay with you for your entire life at Normandale. From building access to resources in the library your ID card will open the doors for you every day at Normandale.

Did you know that Normandale Community College is available to the whole community? Student groups, faculty and staff and a host of other organizations—including businesses and community groups—may enjoy the first-class facilities available at Normandale.

All groups and organizations that share the values and vision of Normandale may host an event in a classroom, conference or meeting room, or even throw a banquet complete with on-site catering.

Normandale's state-of-the-art technology and dedicated support staff make the college an attractive, inviting and affordable place to hold your meeting or special event.

Service Hours and Contact Information

Kopp Student Center is located off of Collegeview road, enter by Northwest Lot 4. We are on the garden level and level 1, at the northwest part of the campus.
