Linking to Sources in ProQuest Databases

Follow the directions below to get links to articles from ProQuest databases that will work later and from off campus. These directions are for any databases on the ProQuest platform including News & Newspapers, Medical Database, Nursing & Allied Health Premium, and others.

  1. On the search results page, choose an article that includes a link to Full Text. Click on the Abstract/Details link.
  2. From the Abstract/Details screen, scroll to the bottom of the page to the Document URL.
  3. Select the Document URL address and copy it. Use this address when citing this source and to return to this page in the future.
  4. Test your link! Paste the address into a new private browser window to make sure it works. (If you are off campus, you will be prompted to log in again in the new private browser window.)

If you plan to post this link in D2L Brightspace, read about linking to library sources in D2L first.
