Linking to Sources in CQ Researcher

Follow the directions below to get links to articles from CQ Researcher that will work later and from off campus.

  1. On the search results page, click on the title of a report to view the full report.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Copy the Document URL.
  3. Use the Off-Campus Link Generator to make the link work from off campus.
    1. Paste the Document URL into the Off-Campus Link Generator and click Create Link.
    2. Copy the new link that appears in the bottom box. Use this address when citing this source and to return to this page in the future.
  4. Test your link! Paste the address into a new private browser window to make sure it works. Don't forget to use the Off-Campus Link Generator! (If you are off campus, you will be prompted to log in again in the new private browser window.)

If you plan to post this link in D2L Brightspace, read about linking to library sources in D2L first.
