Accepted to Normandale’s PSEO Program? Here’s What to Do Next

Congratulations on being accepted into Normandale’s PSEO program! Follow these steps to complete the Intro to Normandale in D2L, attend a PSEO Orientation Webinar and register for classes so you’re ready for a successful semester.

Important Note: The following steps were also included in your acceptance letter, which was sent to the email address you provided when applying. Be sure to review that email for official details and attachments.

1. Access Your Normandale Email

Your Normandale email is the primary way we’ll communicate important updates, deadlines, and class information. It’s essential to access this right away, so you don’t miss anything. Need help? Watch our How to Access Your Normandale Email video.

2. Plan Your Courses with Your High School Counselor

Before attending a PSEO Orientation Webinar, meet with your high school counselor to find out your remaining high school graduation requirements and what Normandale courses fulfill those requirements. This step ensures you earn both high school and college credit efficiently.

Remember high school counselors are typically unavailable during summer months, so plan early to avoid delays.

3. Complete Intro to Normandale in D2L and Attend a PSEO Orientation Webinar

Start your journey with two important steps: the Intro to Normandale in D2L and the PSEO Orientation Webinar. These steps will guide you through the basics, including how to find resources, what’s expected in your classes, and tips for adjusting to college life. PSEO Orientation Webinars are held multiple times per week up until the start of each semester.

Action Steps:

Part 1: Complete the Intro to Normandale in D2L - you will submit a short survey at the end to move on to part 2

Part 2: Sign up & attend a PSEO Orientation Webinar - connect with an advisor to walk through registering for classes, explain important policies, and answer your questions

4.  Attend the New Student Kickoff Event

This event gives you the chance to:
