Meet Our First-Ever Equity Fellows

Making Normandale a Stronger, More Equitable Institution

Normandale is committed to an "Equity 2025" vision

The Equity Fellows, appointed by President Joyce Ester after a competitive application process, will help Normandale make this ambitious vision a reality. Representing faculty and staff positions across all college divisions, the eight Fellows are essential members of a newly formed Strategic Initiatives Group that also includes President Ester and her cabinet, and leaders from the departments of HR and Equity and Institutional Research and Planning.

This vision includes eliminating race-based gaps in educational outcomes by 2025, achieving a completion rate of 50% or better for degree-seeking students, and fostering a culturally competent, service-oriented institutional culture.
