This includes eliminating race-based gaps in educational outcomes by 2025, achieving a completion rate of 50% or better for degree-seeking students, and fostering a culturally competent, service-oriented institutional culture.

The Equity Fellows, appointed by President Joyce Ester after a competitive application process, will help Normandale make this ambitious vision a reality. Representing faculty and staff positions across all college divisions, the eight Fellows are essential members of a newly formed Strategic Initiatives Group that also includes President Ester and her cabinet, and leaders from the departments of HR and Equity and Institutional Research and Planning.
