With a French Degree from Normandale, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the French language and culture, and you’ll study foundational courses like college writing, math, and communications as part of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. 

When you graduate, you can easily transfer to one of seven Minnesota State universities where you’ll enter as a junior and can pursue your bachelor’s in French.

The World Languages and Cultures Department at Normandale Community College is proud to be the largest language department within the Minnesota State system. 

As a student here, you’ll get personalized attention with small class sizes, and you’ll have  ample time to practice speaking, writing and reading French.
