Steps to Apply for Each Scholarship

Applications are submitted electronically. To access applications, students should:

  • Open the link to the Scholarship Portal
  • Scroll down and click "Apply" or "Students."
  • Those who haven't used the portal before may be instructed to sign in with their minnstate.edu email address (using Star ID).
  • A Release of Information must be completed first. This will show up under "Tasks." Students won't be able to see any scholarship applications until this is completed.
  • Students complete the general scholarship application and then complete the separate section devoted to any Psychology scholarship to which they want to apply. Even if students don’t receive a Psychology scholarship, completing the general scholarship application will make them eligible for other Normandale scholarships for the next academic year.
