Rewatch Part I & II of the In This Together

The Normandale Theatre Department's virtual performance of In This Together was selected as one of 12 invited productions to this year's Region V Kennedy Center America College Theater Festival (KCACTF). The festival will run virtually from January 16-24, 2021.

Normandale's In This Together production was originally streamed live (on October 23 and 24) over two nights, and was a two-act virtual cabaret featuring songs, music, dance, monologues and spoken word. With pieces chosen by the student performers, the overarching theme focused on what is happening in and to our world right now. And at its heart are many diverse interpretations of what it means to stand side by side [at a distance] while we face these enormous challenges together.

Invited productions for The Region V KCACTF are selected among colleges and universities from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Last year, Normandale's productions of Colossal and the Wolves were invited to the 2020 Region V KCACTF. Normandale was the only two-year college to have productions selected this year and in 2020. St. Ambrose University and Iowa State University were the only other institutions to have productions selected for the 2020 and 2021 festivals.
