Community develops when students have a sense of belonging and connectedness. We want Normandale to be a place where you will develop lifelong friendships, pursue your passions, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
To have those opportunities we feel it is important to support the whole student inside and outside of the classroom. We provide this support in a variety of ways including the Tutoring Center, Campus Cupboard, mental health resources, emergency financial assistance and many others.
We know that people learn and work better when their needs are met, and we try to reduce your worries outside of the classroom so you can excel.
I’ve been at Normandale just over six years. I think Normandale is a leader in trying innovative things, and we don’t fear taking a new direction if we think it will benefit students.”
Provided in scholarship, program and project support.
“Normandale has been awesome. I’ve met a lot of people from different backgrounds and everyone is helpful. I feel like it’s an open community. I was afraid when I came here because I had no friends, nothing, starting from zero. But when I sat next to people they’d say hi to me and people would come up to me – I felt welcomed.”
