Telly Mamayek is Vice President of Advancement at Normandale Community College, where she oversees external communications, community relations, and fundraising. Her division includes the Foundation, Grants, and Marketing/Communications teams, and she is a member of the President's Cabinet.

Before joining Normandale in 2023, Telly built a successful career in broadcast journalism, earning awards at several Midwestern radio stations including WCCO Radio in Minneapolis. In 2011, she transitioned to public relations, leading communications and grants programs at the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and managing media, government relations, events, and fundraising for the Minneapolis Area REALTORS Association.

Enthusiastic about higher education and Normandale's transformative impact, Telly holds an M.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She also earned an Accreditation in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America.
