Kristine Gyolai has been Interim Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs at Normandale Community College since July 2025, bringing 30+ years of experience in education. Her leadership is informed by her work in curriculum design and faculty professional development, with a consistent focus on teaching and learning. Her professional journey includes assessment, program development, and collaboration with industry and K-12 school partners.

At Normandale, Kristine provides leadership and oversight for all instructional programs, faculty development, curriculum, and academic policy. She is committed to helping cultivate a welcoming college community, foster every student's talents, and build an equitable culture that supports the college's vision of limitless human potential realized.

Kristine Gyolai holds an EdD in Curriculum and Higher Education Leadership from Rockhurst University, an M.A. in Visual Arts from St. Cloud State University, and a B.S. in Art Education, K-12 from South Dakota State University.
