STUDENT SERVICES APPOINTMENTS

Monday – Thursday  9am - 4pm

  9am - 11am 
Same day virtual appointents with a Student Services coach are 15-30 minutes and are currently available via zoom. We can help you troubleshoot Star ID issues, registration holds, assistance with completing your FAFSA or Dream Act application, answer questions about your financial aid award or assist you with setting up a payment plan. 

Sign-up opens each day at 7 am

We are not able to help with academic advising or assistance with selecting classes.  For those inquiries, please refer to Express Advising. 



FAFSA & MN DREAM GRANT WORKSHOPS

Student Services will be hostsing Zoom sessions several times per week to help students complete their FAFSA or MN Dream Act Application.  Staff will be available to answer questions and assist you with getting your application completed. 


NORMANDALE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN!

Scholarship awards range from approximately $375 to $3000 per academic year. Awards are for use during Fall and Spring semesters for the academic year and are usually divided equally between each semester. 

You can complete one application for consideration for all scholarships.  Make sure to apply before the June 1, 2021 deadline.

Because some scholarships require a calculation of financial need, we ask that you complete your 2021-2022 FAFSA or 2021-2022 MN Dream Act Application by May 25, 2021.  International students must have a F-! visa to be eligible.

If you have quick questions about placement, your academic status, or need to make a schedule change, please check in for Express Advising through the "Chat Now" button. Have your StarID or Tech ID number ready along with a brief description of what type of advising help you need.

STUDENT SERVICES ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Complete your 2020-2021 FAFSA application. This should be completed for Fall 2020, Spring 2021 and Summer 2021.
  • The 2021-2022 FAFSA application is available now!  You can learn how to apply by watching this VIDEOYou can also watch it in Spanish
  • Learn how to create an FSA ID. VIDEO
  • Sign up for Direct Deposit! Just a reminder, Direct Deposit to your bank account is the fastest way to receive your funds. To sign up, login to eServices and select Financial Aid and then select Direct Deposit.  
  • The payment deadline for Summer term is 5/10/21.  Please review the various payment arrangements to make sure you meet the deadline.

Student Services is the place to get information about the payment deadlines for each semester, payment arrangement options, your account balance, and the Nelnet payment plan.

Please make sure to keep your address and direct deposit information up to date, so that we can process your refunds and excess financial aid timely and efficiently.

Student Services can assist with all things related to Records and Registration such as questions about registration holds, updating your student record, requesting transcripts, verifying enrollment and more.

Scholarships

Scholarships are provided through generous gifts to the Normandale Foundation. Our scholarship program recognizes students who have demonstrated achievement in their academics, leadership, service and extracurricular activities or have demonstrated financial need.
