The Normandale Community College Economics Department and Student Life will host the 12th Annual Financial Literacy Event on Tuesday, April 14 from 12-1:20 p.m. at the Kopp Student Center Garden Room.

Mark Rosenkranz, who is an Investment Strategist for JNBA Financial Advisor, will share a presentation titled Investing 101: What students show know about investing.
April is Financial Literacy Month and Normandale is committed to educating students about the importance of knowing how to manage their finances. This spring semester, Normandale has five sections of Personal Finance with approximately 140 students in the classes, which is the highest total of any college or university in the Minnesota State System. There are a similar number of students that take the course every spring and fall semester.
