A Murder is Announced will open on Friday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m., and will also run Saturday, April 4 at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The following is a quick description of the two productions:

In the production of A Murder is Announced, an announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock's Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house's several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death and a determined inspector grimly following the case's twists and turns. Fortunately, Miss Marple is on hand to provide the solution in a dramatic final confrontation.

In the Play that Goes Wrong, you are welcomed to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show – an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!

Adult admission is $10, while senior/staff/student tickets will be $5. Tickets can be reserved online. Season tickets are available for a discount.
