During the COVID-19 pandemic, students' need for emergency aid dramatically expanded and the federal government began providing that support for the first time. How did colleges respond? What is required to scale the practice of emergency aid in an effective and equitable way?
The webinar shared findings and lessons from The Hope Center's latest research, a study of federal pandemic emergency aid implementation at 154 colleges and universities around the country. Three new resources will accompany the webinar: a summary report, a research paper, and a look at parenting students' experiences with emergency aid during the pandemic.
