The event will include:
2:30–4:00 PM |Check-in, Tour, and Resource Fair: Students and families can check in, explore the campus, and connect with campus departments to learn about available resources and services.
3:30–3:40 PM | Welcome Message: Welcomes students, families, and community guests! There will be a brief message about belonging, student support, and Normandale's commitment to serving students and families.
3:40–4:05 PM | Financial Aid/Admissions Presentation: An overview of the college process, admissions, financial aid, and different pathways students can take.
4:05–4:45 PM | Community Panel: Five Somali community members from different educational and professional backgrounds will share their college experiences, and advice they have for students and families. The community members are Shukri Daahir, State Senator Zaynab Mohamed, Mustafa Dualeh, Mohamed Kafi, and Dr. Salma Hussein.
4:45–5:00 PM | Q&A & Connections: An opportunity for families to ask questions and connect with campus staff.
