Students attending Normandale should:
Four-year degree partnership with Minnesota State University - MankatoStudents can earn certain four-year teaching degrees at Normandale. Through a partnership with Minnesota State University, Mankato, their faculty members teach third-and fourth-year courses at Normandale in the Partnership Center, which enables students to complete a four-year degree in elementary education or special education. Students receive a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Mankato. Support for future educatorsThe Education/EdTrAc Office offers support for students planning to begin a teaching degree at Normandale. Students can meet the prerequisites for an elementary (K-6), secondary (5-12) or K-12 degree and prepare to transfer. EdTrac staff also does outreach to area high schools. We encourage students to consider becoming a teacher, and to consider beginning their teacher education program at Normandale. |
