The Ellucian Scholarship for Pregnant or Parenting Students is a $1,000 scholarship open to Normandale students who are pregnant or parenting fall 2025.
Eligibility
- Pregnant or parenting student
- Enrolled in at least 6 credits at Normandale fall 2025
- In good academic standing (minimum GPA of 2.0 and 66.66% course completion rate)
- Have financial need
- Not available to students who are dual-enrolled (PSEO or concurrent enrollment)
How to Apply:
Scholarship Portal Instructions for Students
- Click the “Apply” button (which is on the top of the page), as that will send you directly to your home landing page. Though clicking “Students” can get you there as well.
- If you haven’t been on the portal before, you might be instructed to sign in with your minnstate.edu email address (with your Star ID).
- You will first need to complete the Release of Information – which shows up as an application under “Tasks.” You won’t be able to see any scholarship applications until you agree to the release of your information.
- Afterwards, any open applications will be available for you to view, complete, and submit.
- Other applications will have the scholarship criteria listed at the top of the page. Make sure you qualify before applying.
- Pay attention to the deadlines of other applications, as they differ.
Application deadline: Sunday, September 28th 11:59 pm Central Time
Students who are selected for the scholarship will be notified and receive the scholarship funds by mid-October 2025. Students who receive the scholarship receive basic needs support from Normandale’s Student Resource Center.
