Normandale Writing Festival

For the tenth year running, Normandale will host its free annual Writing Festival, featuring sessions on screenwriting, fiction, poetry, and more. A keynote address by award-winning author Shannon Gibney entitled "Using Fiction to Write Across Chasms: Imagination as Bridge" will be held at Noon in the Garden Room.

Home to a nationally-known AFA in Creative Writing program, Normandale boasts seven published authors on its faculty, including a Minnesota Book Award winner and an Alex Award winner. Sessions will be facilitated by guest writers and writing professionals, along with Normandale faculty. Featured guests include Beth Mayer, Carolyn Holbrook, Frank Bures, and Natalie Fowler.

No registration is necessary. All festival events are free and open to the public.
