Normandale Theatre Department receives national KCACTF honors

The Normandale Theatre Department received several national honors from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.

The Repertory of The Wolves and Colossal received Outstanding Achievement in Innovative, Inclusive Production Programming, and Outstanding Production Ensemble awards.

Colossal also received an award for Outstanding Production of a Play.

Normandale student Michael Hundevad received an award for Distinguished Performance by an Actor in Colossal. Amanda White, who is Theatre instructor at Normandale and director Colossal, was named a Distinguished Director of a Play.

Joe Crook received an award for Outstanding Choreography in Colossal.

The KCACTF National Awards are given to students and instructors who are highlighted during regional festivals which took place from January 7 through February 27, 2020.
