Outdoor Recreation Local trails/parks near Bloomington In the heart of the Twin Cities, this park offers extensive hiking, bike and ski trails. You also can canoe, golf, swim, and explore Pike Island, where the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers converge. Highlights:
