Large Group Campus Visits

Campus visits are a valuable step in a student's college search process, and we are excited to welcome your group to our campus! Please review the following expectations to ensure that your students get the most out of their visit.

Your group will have the opportunity to learn about Normandale from an Admissions Representative and take a campus tour with one of our Student Ambassadors. 

Here is a typical schedule of events for a campus visit:

• Arrival (15 minutes prior to start)
• Presentation with an Admissions Representative (30 minutes)
• Campus Tour with a Student Ambassador (30 minutes)
• Departure (15 minutes following tour)

By requesting a campus visit using the form below, your group is agreeing to follow the guidelines and expectations outlined below.

Group Size

We are easily able to accommodate groups of up to 40 (students and chaperones). Please know that we require one chaperone attend for every ten students present. Chaperones will participate in both the presentation and campus tour.

For groups larger than 40, please submit your request form one month prior to your visit. We may request that your group be split into two visits depending on size.

If your group size changes from your original request, please email visitncc@normandale.edu so that we can update your visit to accommodate your whole group.

Student Behavior

Chaperones for your group will be responsible for managing group behavior during the visit, including ensuring that students remain together with the group and are respectful of Normandale staff and spaces.

When planning a visit, please be mindful that:

• Classes may be in session;
• There may be increased student, faculty, and staff traffic on campus;
• Other events may be occuring during the time of your visit. 
  
  

Accommodating Special REquests

We will do everything we can to accommodate any special requests indicated on your form. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

We are currently only able to accommodate requests for an admissions presentation in Spanish. All tours will be conducted in English.

We are unable to provide food for your group, however your group is welcome to utilize the Kopp Student Center space to have lunch if provided by your school/organization. 

Schedule Changes

We understand that things can often change, and we will do our best to accommodate any communicated early or late arrivals. When possible, please call 952-358-8201 to inform our office of any same day changes in your schedule. Based on staff availability, your visit schedule may need to be adjusted or shortened.

Please note, individuals and families should not complete this form. If you are interested in visiting campus, you can sign up for a small group tour, information session, or 1:1 Admissions Representative meeting.
