If so, bring sheet music for the accompanist. All auditionees will sing with a live accompanist at the initial audition (no recordings).

Invited callbacks will be held on Friday, August 28, from 12:00–4:00 pm. Please indicate at the initial audition if you cannot attend. Callback participants will be asked to sing additional selections and read from the script.

Come From Away is based on the true story of when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. When 38 planes carrying 7,000 passengers from around the globe were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001, local residents welcomed these strangers into their homes and hearts. While the world witnessed the worst of humanity, the people of Gander demonstrated that kindness, comfort, and generosity still exist.
