ATI TEAS Pre-Test

ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Nursing Pre-Test

The ATI TEAS exam is required for students applying to the nursing program at Normandale Community College. The exam covers reading, science, math, and English. It lasts approximately 4 hours.

Normandale TEAS Testing Dates:

  • Tuesday, September 12, 2023 (Remote Exam)
  • Thursday, September 14, 2023 (On Campus, Room C-3025)

Exams will begin at 9:00 AM for all sessions.

In order to maintain a proper testing environment for all examinees, late admittance will not be allowed.

Tuesday, September 12, 2023 TEAS session will be remote testing session, in partnership with ATI and Proctorio. Examinees must provide their own private testing environment, computer, and webcam. Visit the ATI TEAS Remote Testing website, or call ATI at 1-800-667-7531 for more information on the remote proctored exam.

Thursday, September 14, 2023 will be on campus, in room C-3025.

All Normandale Nursing Program applicants must complete the most current version of the TEAS exam. ATI released TEAS version 7 on June 3, 2022. TEAS scores prior to this date will not be accepted.

Practice review guides are available at the Campus Store or at the ATI TEAS website.

Applicants must register and pay for the exam at the ATI TEAS website.

  • Set up an ATI testing account
  • Register and pay on the ATI TEAS website
  • Choose the Normandale CC TEAS and request to have your scores sent to Normandale CC

The test is conducted in collaboration with ATI and Proctorio, a remote proctoring system.

All registered students need to attend a "dry run" at 8 a.m. on the morning of their scheduled exam to ensure that computers and other equipment are working.

Registered students will get a Zoom link prior to the test date. Late admittance to the exam is not allowed.

Testing Accommodations for Students With Disabilities

Students with documented disabilities may receive reasonable accommodations through the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD). Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted by Normandale staff and approved by ATI prior to testing.
