All applicants must be admitted to the college before applying.
Please note that the Normandale Community College Nursing Program is not PSEO eligible.

The application for Fall 2026 Admission will open March 1, 2026, and remain available through April 15, 2026. Applications are only accepted during the admission cycle.
Students must first apply for general admission and be admitted to Normandale Community College before applying to the nursing program. Applications for admission to the college are typically processed in one to three business days.
Students who have previously been admitted for general admission, but have not completed a Normandale course in two or more semesters will need to complete a Returning Student Form.
Students who have not attended Normandale for two or more years will need to re-apply to the college.
Please be sure to apply to the college, or complete the Returning Student Form, by April 1, 2026. This will ensure that your nursing application can be submitted before the April 15, 2026 Nursing Application deadline.
Applicants who qualify for international general admission status should apply for general admission not later than March 15, 2026. Visit the Admissions webpage for additional information.
If you are interested in applying for the Nursing program for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027, attend an information session to learn more. Nursing staff and advisors will explain the application and admission process for the nursing program and be available to answer questions.

The Normandale Community College Nursing program uses a Holistic Admissions process. This recognizes your unique experiences alongside traditional measures of achievement like grades and test scores.

The process prioritizes experience and attributes as well as metrics. The more information you provide about yourself, the better the reviewers can determine your level of preparedness for the rigor of the nursing program.
