The application for Spring 2024 Admission will be available September 1, 2023 and remain open through October 15, 2023. Applications are only accepted during the admission cycle.
In order to achieve timely notification of Nursing program admission for the Spring 2024 cohort starting January 8, 2024:
• Official transcripts from private, out-of-state, or the University of Minnesota system that show final grades for prerequisite courses must be received by the Records Office for evaluation by December 19, 2023.
• Official transcripts from Minnesota State Colleges and Universities will be automatically retrieved and evaluated by the Records Office, and the final grades for prerequisite courses must be posted by December 19, 2023.
• Admission decisions will be sent via email to the address provided on the application on December 26, 2023 and require a response to claim offered seats by December 28, 2023
• Program Orientation for admitted students will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 4:00 pm
• Spring 2024 classes start Monday, January 8, 2024
Please note that final grades provided on official transcripts received after posted deadlines will not be used in the admission decisions.
Students must first apply and be admitted to Normandale Community College before applying to the nursing program. Applications for admission to the college are typically processed in one to two business days, but can take as long as three. Please make sure you apply to the college on or before October 6 to ensure that your nursing application can be submitted before the October 15 deadline.
