If you are interested in applying for Normandale’s Nursing program, this is a great time to learn more. Representatives from the nursing department and advising office explain the application and admission process for the nursing program in this recorded February 2024 Nursing Information Session.

The application for Fall 2024 Admission will be available February 1, 2024 and remain open through March 15, 2024. Applications are only accepted during the admission cycle.
In order to achieve timely notification of Nursing program admission for the Fall 2024 cohort starting August 26, 2024:
• Official transcripts from private, out-of-state, or the University of Minnesota system that show final grades for prerequisite courses must be received by the Records Office for evaluation by May 20, 2024.
• Official transcripts from Minnesota State Colleges and Universities will be automatically retrieved and evaluated by the Records Office, and the final grades for prerequisite courses must be posted by May 20, 2024.
• Admission decisions will be sent via email to the address provided on the application on May 31, 2024 and require a response to claim offered seats by June 10, 2024.
• Program Orientation for admitted students will be scheduled for late June or early July.
• Fall 2024 classes begin Monday, August 26, 2024.
Please note that final grades provided on official transcripts received after posted deadlines will not be used in the admission decisions.
Students must first apply and be admitted to Normandale Community College before applying to the nursing program. Applications for admission to the college are typically processed in one to two business days, but can take as long as three. Please make sure you apply to the college on or before March 4, 2024 to ensure that your nursing application can be submitted before the March 15, 2024 Nursing Application deadline.
Applicants who qualify for international general admission status should apply for general admission earlier than March 4, 2024. Visit the Admissions webpage for additional information.
