Normandale’s  Six Sigma Green Belt course is designed for professionals seeking to advance their skills in quality management and process improvement. This comprehensive course focuses on the DMAIC framework using statistical analysis, project management, change management, and Lean principles to deliver substantial improvements in efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.  

Green Belts are essential to their organizations—which is why we’ve designed this course to help individuals feel assured in supporting both larger-scale Black Belt projects and owning smaller-scale projects.

Six Sigma Green Belt Course Objectives

Participants who complete the Six Sigma Green Belt course will:  

  • Understand the Six Sigma methodology and the DMAIC framework,  
  • Learn to identify, analyze, and solve business problems using Six Sigma tools,   
  • Acquire skills in data collection and analysis for informed decision-making,  
  • Develop the ability to lead small-scale improvement projects and support Black Belts in larger initiatives,  
  • Use Minitab for statistical evaluation of data, and  
  • Apply learnings through a project that is sponsored by the business. 

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

The Six Sigma Green Belt certification is well-suited to professionals interested in process improvement and quality management; team leaders and managers who want to develop project management and problem-solving skills; quality assurance personnel; and individuals seeking to contribute to their organization’s continuous improvement efforts. 

After finishing the Six Sigma Green Belt course, completing a project, and passing the certification exam, participants will be awarded a Six Sigma Green Belt certification that signifies their proficiency in the basic principles of Six Sigma and their ability to support and lead successful process improvement projects.
