Printing Information

  1. Student Printing
Normandale uses a print management system.  Students use their StarID to access an allotted amount of free prints each term they are enrolled as a student. (*This allotment is determined each year according to tech fees.)
If students run out of printing funds, they may purchase more at the Kopp Student Center or by visiting the Business Office.
Students who use computers in the Reference Room (L2734) will need to release their print jobs at the printer-copiers by the Circulation Desk.
Note that all printers default to double-sided printing.  Students will need to change the setting manually if they require single-sided printing.
  2. Printing from Laptops & other Mobile Devices
Direct printing is available from Library laptops.
To print from the personal laptops, tablets, and phones, send an email attachment to print@normandale.edu from your Normandale Email Account: http://www.outlook.com/my.normandale.edu. If you are Metro State University student or Mankato State University student, you must send your document from your Home institution Email Account, Mankato or Metro State.
Note: File types that work with Mobile print@normandale.edu are PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT or PPTX format.
  3. Community Members, Library Guests, and Visitors Printing
Printing is available for library visitors not affiliated with Normandale. Please speak to library Staff for more information.
