Course Related Library Instruction

• Help your students learn effective research strategies. We tailor each session to meet your students needs. Classes can be held in the library or in your classroom, can be one-time or multiple sessions, and can vary in length. Library instruction is most successful when students have a firm grasp of their research topics and occurs within a few weeks of their assignment's due dates.
• Example topics include: narrowing a topic, developing search strategies, using MnPALS (library catalog), finding scholarly journals, magazines and newspapers using article databases, web site evaluation, plagiarism, writing citations and much
  more.
