Academic Transfer from Normandale

If you are a Normandale student who plans to transfer to another school from Normandale, you need to be aware of the requirements of the school that you plan on transferring into. There typically are two requirements: General Education requirements and Pre-major requirements. The counselors are available to assist with this.

General Education requirements; If you are transferring to a public institution, the MNTC or the AA degree from Normandale will satisfy the general education requirements at any public college or university in Minnesota. If you plan on transferring to a private college or university, consult the transfer guides for both general education requirements and many of the pre-major requirements.

Click on transfer guides and you will see the current requirements for either general education or pre-major classes listed for many schools in our region. If you do not see a transfer guide for the school you plan to transfer to, contact that school and ask about the general education requirements and the pre-major requirements.
