Normandale Art Department presents
Normandale Student Art Recognition & Awards Ceremony
Monday, April 4, 3-5 p.m., Fine Arts Gallery | Exhibit on Display Through April 21
Join us for a recognition and awards presentation of selected works by Normandale students. Student Awards will be presented at 3:45 p.m. The mixed media exhibit is made up of over 200 works including ceramics, sculpture, design, fused glass, painting, drawing, digital media, printmaking and photography. Refreshments served. All are welcome to attend.

Normandale Writing Festival
Thursday, April 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Partnership Center and Kopp Garden Rooms (K 0462)
Hear nationally-esteemed speakers and authors Reginald Dwayne Betts at 11-11:50 a.m. and Dr. Nina Smart at 12-12:50 p.m., in Room K 0470 of the Kopp Student Center. Festival activities include sessions facilitated by guest writers and writing professionals, along with Normandale faculty. The Patsy Lea Core Living Memorial Award in Creative Writing Ceremony will be presented at 1pm in K 0462. The ceremony includes readings by students and authors Bill Meissner and Rachel Moritz. The Writing Festival is free and open to the public. For more information, click on the link below.

TRIO Student Support Services Accepting Applications

Normandale TRIO - SSS program provides services that are are free to low-income, first generation college students, and individuals with disabilities. Take advantage of individualized one-on-one success coaching, academic skill-building workshops, and cultural, educational and social engagement opportunities.   • Play Bingo with Martin Luther Nursing Home Residents: Meet to carpool to at 1 p.m. in C 1066
Wednesday April 13
  • Shoe Sale for Campus Cupboard: Buy a pair of like-new shoes for $5! Location: College Services Parking Lot. Look for the big turquoise bus. All proceeds go to Campus Cupboard.
Thursday, April 14
  • Campus Clean Up: Volunteer for any amount of time to pick up trash outside Normandale. Volunteer individually or with a group. Location: Meet in C 1066.
Friday, April 15
  • Shoe Donation Sorting: Help sort shoes donated to benefit Campus Cupboard. Location: K 1450
