Normandale hosts Anthropology Day Film Festival on February 16

Normandale Community College's Anthropology Department will host an Anthropology Day Film Festival on Thursday, February 16 from 3 to 8 p.m. in College Services Room C 1095.

The film festival will include award-winning films on Women in the World, along with discussion and refreshments.

Films that will be showing include:

3 p.m. - "A Thousand Voices" (2015 Winner of the American Indian Film Festival)

4:20 p.m. - Ladies First: Saudi Arabia's Female Candidates (2016 Margaret Mead Film Festival selection)

5:15 p.m. - Blessed Fruit of the Womb: A Fight for Women's Reproductive Rights

6 p.m. - Shaan Mutiyaaran Di Bhangra Club: The Pride of Women

6:30 p.m. - I Am a Girl (2014 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Awards, four-time nominee)
