The Normandale Economics Institute (NEI) will host the fifth annual Financial Literacy on Tuesday, April 4 from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. and 12:30 to 1:50 p.m. in Kopp Student Center Garden Room. This event is free and open to the public
The keynote speakers are Brett Machtig and Josh Gronholz from Capital Advisory Group Advisory Services, LLC. Machtig and Gronholz, who will speak from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m., will present "A Twenty-Something's Guide to Financial Freedom".
Machtig is a founding partner of The Capital Advisory Group Advisory Services, LLC (CAGAS), and has a comprehensive approach to financial planning suits conservative investors who want to preserve and enhance wealth.
As a private asset manager, he has earned the trust and gratitude of many retirees and business owners as well as national recognition for his investment approach.
Machtig has authored several books, been featured on radio shows and appeared on national television programs including CNBC's Your Money, PBS' Financial Freedom and CNN's Financial Update.
For Gronholz, helping people make the most of their financial assets has been his passion. He enjoys helping the other advisors guide their clients and aiding in the implementation of investment strategies to reach their financial goals while providing insurance insight.
After completing insurance licensing he continued straight on to studying to become a financial advisor. Josh is making the most of every experience with the Capital Advisory Group to gain insight into the knowledge and skills of the other advisors to better serve the company's clients.
There will also be a presentation on "Planning and Investing to reach Financial Freedom" from 12:30 to 1:50 p.m.
