Position Description:
Homebuilding: Build and rehab decent, affordable homes in the seven-county metro area

Opportunities for individuals may be found online.
Schedule: April-September Monday-Friday, October-March Tuesday-Saturday
Workday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A Brush with Kindness: Assist low-income homeowners with painting, landscaping, and repairs

Opportunities for individuals may be found online.
Schedule: April-September Tuesday-Saturday, October-March Monday-Friday
Workday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

ReStore: Sort donations, take inventory, assist customers, and arrange merchandise at our discount building materials outlets. Proceeds benefit Twin Cities Habitat programs. The ReStore enjoys working with service learning students on special projects. There are two ReStore locations, located at 510 County Road D, New Brighton and 2700 Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis.

Schedule: Year-round, Tuesday-Saturday
Workday: Minimum 3-hour shift between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (4:00 pm on Saturdays)

Landscaping: Help put the finishing touches on a Habitat partner family’s home by planting flowers and laying mulch.

Group size: 8-14 volunteers depending on project (individual opportunities also available)

Opportunities available: Saturdays during the spring and fall

Workday: 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. (projects generally end a little early)
