Agency DescriptionThe Campus Cupboard is a food pantry for Normandale Students who come to school hungry and don't have the financial means to eat every day. The Campus Cupboard partners with nonprofit Good in the ‘Hood to meet the school day nutritional needs of Normandale Community College students experiencing financial challenges and food insecurity.  Students can come to the Cupboard once per day and can get three food items.  We distribute food items that do not need to be refrigerated and that can be easily prepared and eaten on campus.

Position Description: Once per month we need volunteers to go to Good in the ‘Hood in Bloomington a few miles from campus to pick up food for the Campus Cupboard.  If you cannot drive we can carpool to and from Normandale. The fall 2018 food pickups are:

·         Tues. Sept. 18th 2:00-4:00 pm

·         Tues. Oct. 16th 2:00-4:00 pm

·         Tues. Nov. 20th 2:00-4:00 pm
