What if there is no tutor for my course?
See your instructor during his/her office hours. You may also want to form a study group with interested classmates. Visit the Tutoring Center for general tips about studying more effectively.

Where is the Writing Center?
The Writing Center is located in the Tutoring Center (C2120, Second Floor of the College Services Building). If you are a non-native English speaker, you may ask to see a professional EAP (English for Academic Purposes) tutor.

What do I need to bring with me when I come in for tutoring?
Bring your student ID card, textbook, syllabus, and your assignment or a printed draft of your paper. It will also help you make the most of your time with a tutor if you have specific questions or goals for the session. Tutors are not able to correct your homework or tell you which questions are wrong, but they will help you understand concepts and give you suggestions for how to study the material.
