Normandale 50th Anniversary Faculty and Friends Talent Show Date Changed to April 18

The date for the Normandale Community College 50th Anniversary Faculty and Friends Talent Show has been changed to Thursday, April 18 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Lorenz Auditorium.
The performers in the Talent Show include:
Master of Ceremonies - History Instructor Robert Frame
- Arabic Drum Solo Improvisation - Psychology instructor David Lake and Mirah Ammal (Artistic Director Al-Bahira Dance Theater)
- English Instructor Anna Meek singing Lyubasha's Aria from Tsar's Bride (Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov)
- A singing performance of an original song by Normandale student Maddison Spall
- Research and Planning Assistant Yeng Miller Cheng playing Prelude in C-Sharp Minor (Rachmaninoff) the piano
- Juggling, Magic, Balloons and Other Stuff comedy act with English instructor Dan Darling
- Communication instructor Aimee DuBois' traditional Norwegian storytelling tale, The Gertrude Bird
- Physics instructor Gaio Lakin's guitar performance, L'atelier Maria (original song written by Gaio) and Free to Be You and Me (S. Lawrence and B. Hart)
- AcroYoga with Economics instructor Dan Norgard and OSD Access Program Coordinator Lauren Schumann
- Communication instructor Chad Kuyper's piano performance of Springtime Medley
- Communication instructor Willie Johnson's vocal performance of You Have Got To Be Taught (M. Morrison & O. Hammerstein)
- Storytelling with Communication instructor Jennifer Isaac, Flying (Moth Story Slam Award Winner)
- A sing-a-long with Computer Science instructors Karen Anderson and Sharon Harvey, Peace, Love, Rock N Roll!!! (a medley of popular songs from 1968-69)
- A bagpipe performance by Normandale student Thomas Stonehouse, Mason's Apron (a famous Scottish Jig)
- Happy Birthday played with kazoos by the audience
