Our law enforcement program prepares you to seamlessly transfer to a four-year Minnesota State university in just two years.
You’ll study a wide range of law enforcement topics — from communications, to juvenile justice, to sociology. You’ll come away with a foundational understanding of policing and the criminal justice system, and your important role in it.
With a law enforcement associate’s degree from Normandale, you’ll be transfer-ready to one of seven Minnesota State colleges where you can pursue your bachelor’s degree.
You’ll gain valuable skills in written and interpersonal communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving. Most importantly, you’ll have the skills you need — and the preparation it takes — to pursue policework.
Our program prepares students to be eligible to take the Minnesota Peace Officer Licensing Exam.
Your courses in the law enforcement transfer pathway will directly transfer to a four-year Minnesota State university and you’ll enter as a junior. You’ll be set to pursue your bachelor’s in law enforcement and be eligible to take the Minnesota Peace Officer Licensing Exam.
