About Patrick Bonnie

G. Patrick (Pat) Bonnie is in his sixth year of teaching at Normandale where his principal focus has been archaeology and forensic anthropology.

Before coming to Normandale, Mr. Bonnie was a technologist and operations executive in the computer industry.  His work experience included the development of magnetic storage devices, technical management, international manufacturing, and intellectual property law.

Mr. Bonnie's education includes training in engineering (B.Ch.E., Minnesota), law (LL.B., LaSalle), and anthropology (M.A., Saint Mary's).  Notably, most of his undergraduate coursework in anthropology was taken right here at Normandale, where a single course in Physical Anthropology ignited a passion for the subject matter.

He is especially interested in the impact of environmental change on human evolution and cultural collapse.
