Professional Interests

Aimee enjoys the study of relational communication, including interpersonal and small group communication.  Communication styles, the impacts of technology, and conflict management are areas of particular interest. 

Aimee is passionate about helping her students reach their educational goals and improve their own communication in various contexts.  She enjoys teaching both face to face and online and has received Quality Matters Certification for her online Interpersonal Communication course. 

Service learning and other experiences are incorporated into her classes to create opportunities for learning outside of the classroom.  

As a traveler, she appreciates the opportunities to help students explore their world through study abroad programs.

Personal Interests

A lot of Aimee's free time is spent with her family.  She and her husband have two daughters, Megan and Molly. 

Her time outside is spent gardening, fishing and geocaching.  When inside, Aimee loves to read, bake, play board games and catch up on great movies and television shows.  She also loves to travel and explore.
