Telephony

The telephony service covers all services associated with telephony and telecommunications, including voice services, teleconferencing, VOIP etc.

Service Categories

  • Voice and Video Calling
    The telephony service allows users to make phone calls internally and externally. Video calling is available for anyone who uses Skype for Business.
  • Conference Calling
    Users can set up conference calls on the fly or by setting up a Skype for Business Meeting, allowing multiple users to call in, chat, see each other over video as well as view PowerPoint, whiteboards, and more.
  • IP Desk Phones
    Desk phones are an extension of voice calling and can be provided for a more traditional way of calling.
  • Voicemail
    Users recieve recorded voicemails in their email.
  • Attendant Menus and Call Routing
    As requested, departments can set up a main line and set different options in a menu.

Maintenance Window

Regular scheduled maintenance will be performed off hours. For any outages that will affect end users, a notice will be posted on the Employee Portal and/or sent via email depending on the severity.
