How to Storify Data and Information

description

Facts Tell, Stories Sell: How to Storify Data and Information to Get Your Point Across

How do you help business leaders effectively communicate a data-driven business case?  Or get additional resources from stakeholders when they don't fully grasp the facts?  How do you keep people energized and engaged while sharing a bunch of numbers and figures? How do you turn a pile of statistical information into something that's meaningful - that gets people to understand what you're trying to convey?
It's not enough to wrap graphics and fancy visualizations around data and deliver them in a slick package.  All data have a voice.  Someone has to extrapolate meaning from it - and then transform this meaning into a compelling story that moves people to take action.  The reaction you want to strive for is: "I get it! This is how this data (or information) relates to me.  I now know what to do." In this workshop, you'll learn how to "storify" your data and information to more quickly get your point across to get the action that's needed.
