Normandale Diversity Center presents
Interfaith Panel
Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2:30-4 pm, P 0808 - Partnership Center
The panel is great opportunity to learn about our different faith identities, and features panelists Holly Brod Farber, Jeff Cavins and Fardosa Hassan. 

Brod Farber is the Director of the Jewish Community Relation Council's speakers bureau program, and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School.

Cavins is an internationally recognized author and public speaker, and founding host of EWTN's weekly program "Life on the Rock".

Hassan is the Muslim Student Program Associate at Augsburg College, and was recognized by President Obama and invited to the White House to take part in the Interfaith Campus Challenge.

25th Annual Normandale Retiree Gathering

Normandale retirees will be on campus this week to catch-up with each other and to hear a presentation by our own History Instructor Jack Norton about how to protect your privacy online. The event includes a private luncheon for retirees only. If you have time, stop by to say hello!

Art Exhibit: Taking Things Apart and Putting Them Back Together by Matthew Winkler
October 13-November 10, Fine Arts Gallery
Artist Matt Winkler uses images and drawings of his surrounding landscapes, both rural and urban, Winkler incorporates multiple layers of imagery and material and often combines meticulously detailed handdrawn or painted images with faster, more intuitive processes.

Artist Talk with Matthew Winkler

Artist Matt Winkler will share how he explores art-making using various materials and methods such as drawing, cut paper, paint, photography, and collage in an attempt to represent the experience of place. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments served.

Normandale's 50th Anniversary is coming up in 2018 and we want to hear your ideas! We will be having two poster sessions to solicit ideas from students, staff and faculty members to hear your thoughts on ways we can best celebrate this momentous occasion. 

Please stop by one of the poster sessions and share your thoughts and suggestions on how we can best celebrate Normandale's perseverance and success over the past 50 years!
