Test Anxiety Workshop

Normandale Diversity Center Grand Opening
Monday, Nov. 21, 2-4 pm, Normandale Diversity Center - 2nd Floor, Kopp Student Center
Join us to celebrate the opening of a new campus space dedicated to nurturing a sense of belonging, promoting healthy dialogue, and providing educational opportunities that strengthen the multicultural fabric of the Normandale community. The new Normandale Diversity Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Kopp Student Center, adjacent to the Campus Store.

Clothes Drive for the Homeless
Were you inspired by the "Stand by Me" photo exhibit? You can make a difference by joining Normandale students and staff and donate new or gently used hats, scarfs, gloves or hoodies to the homeless (food and gift cards are also acceptable). These items will be collected at the Kopp Central Information Desk near the "Stand By Me" photo exhibit in the Kopp Student Center. Donated items will be distributed to the homeless in the coming weeks. If you would like to learn more about the "Stand By Me" photo exhibit and possible volunteer opportunities, contact De'Andre Avaloz at 952-358-9304. 

Also, be sure to attend the final Artist Talk Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 10:30 am, in the Garden Room to hear Avaloz share his experiences photographing the homeless and the motivation behind the project.

Phi Theta Kappa Book Fair
Participate in an online book fair through Usborne Books. Funds raised through the book fair will be used to purchase new books for the Children's Book Exchange, located on the second floor of the College Services Building. The Book Fair runs through Friday, December 2.

Did you know you can print from your mobile device and other personally-owned devices?  Yes, you can! Financial Tips for Students
Normandale has partnered with Salt to offer helpful financial tips for students. This video resource includes tips on how to take control of money and create a budget. Students can click on the link, sign in and get tips on how to cut costs from their everyday spending, keep track of the money they earn and spend, and learn why budgeting can actually make them feel great.
