Normandale alumni and students are invited to learn about the benefits of LinkedIn from Mike O'Neil, a Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencer, a published LinkedIn author and the 10th person in the world to reach the 30,000 connection LinkedIn ceiling. Participants receive free profile photos, networking opportunities and enjoy lunch. This is a great opportunity for students to connect and network with alumni!

Need Study Help?
Tutoring support in many areas of study is available in the Tutoring Center for all students attending Normandale. Study help is available on a walk-in basis. No need for an appointment. 
Just bring your assignment, Normandale ID card, and questions about your homework. Tutoring sessions last up to 30 minutes. You may see a tutor more than once per day. You will be asked to check in before each tutoring session. 
The Tutoring Center is located in Room C 2120, in the College Services Building. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 8am-6pm and Friday, 8am-4pm.

Student ID Card
You will need a Normandale photo ID to use the Computer Center, library, fitness center and various classroom laboratories, and to check out game room and recreation equipment. The first card is free; lost or replacement cards are $10. An approved form of photo ID is required to obtain the Normandale photo ID. 
This service is located at Kopp Central, in the Kopp Student Center. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 8am-7:30pm and Friday, 8am-4pm.

Winter Weather Policy
The following summarizes Normandale's response in the event of college closure, late starts and/or evening class cancellations due to inclement weather.
  • Closings or late starts due to inclement weather for day classes, including Saturday classes, will be announced by 5am on that day.
  • For evening class cancellations, an announcement will be made by 3pm that day.
  • During inclement weather, student's can look for information about campus closings or late starts by going to, Normandale social media channels (Twitter and Facebook), local network television stations and WCCO Radio (830 AM). You will also be notified through your Star Alert account.

Facing Food Insecurities?
The Normandale Campus Cupboard is a food pantry on campus for Normandale students in need. The Cupboard serves students who already receive food assistance or other students who are struggling financially. Stop by the Cupboard once per day, Monday through Friday and receive three food items per visit. The Cupboard is managed by Normandale's Center for Experiential Education.
