The Normandale Japanese Garden Festival will take place on Saturday, October 8 from 12 to 6 p.m.
As part of the festival, the Japanese Garden will celebrate 50 years since the Garden's idea was planted and 40 years since the Garden's official dedication.
The Japanese Garden Festival will feature Japanese dancing, flute and drum performances, along with Twin City Sister Organizations "Bonsai" Kids Area. It will also feature Japanese Martial Arts and Archery groups, Garden Tours, a gift boutique of over 30 display tables, origami, koi art, koi feeding demonstrations and more.
There will also be food trucks with snacks, meals and refreshments that can be purchased at the event.
