Welcome to Normandale Community College! We are proud to be a part of your educational journey. As a college that specializes in the scholarship of teaching and learning, Normandale provides academic, career-focused, and interest-based programs to help you work toward achieving your goals. Through the over 60 degrees and certificates, over 600 academic courses, and hundreds of continuing education programs, we are certain you will find something that fits your needs.

You can complete a two-year degree at Normandale or a four-year degree on our campus through one of the three Minnesota State University partners. If you are looking to transfer to a university or college locally or out of state, Normandale is recognized by transfer colleges, universities and employers throughout the Midwest for providing excellent preparation upper division academic studies and the workplace.

In addition to academic excellence, we offer a variety of student life activities that include clubs, student government, recreational sports, and other organizations. Our award-winning Center for Experiential Education provides numerous unique opportunities for you to get involved in the community through outreach and internship activities.

Our accessible campus, features eight contemporary buildings that are conveniently connected around a central courtyard. Additionally, our campus has a recently renovated student center and a new Partnership Center. The outdoor beauty of the campus is highlighted by a beautiful two-acre Japanese Garden, along with a campus green area and a hiking trail.

Normandale is the largest community college in Minnesota with an enrollment of over 17,000 students attending classes each year, yet because of the great work of our faculty and staff it still maintains a small college feel. Our campus has individuals from a variety of backgrounds, identities, experiences and beliefs, and it is the acceptance and appreciation of these differences that enhances our community.
