A general education course without lab that explores the principles of environmental biology and the ways in which humans depend on and influence the natural world. Topics included the scientific method, basic ecological principles, population growth, natural resources, energy, conservation, pollution and their relationships to Minnesota and global environmental concerns. This course is intended for students who are not majoring in biology. Lecture 3 hours per week.
