Humboldt High School
Humboldt High School is a 6th-12th grade school in the St. Paul Public School district. Normandale students would be volunteering in a math classroom (during the school day) to help support student learning. Most likely, the setting would be 6th - 8th, 9th, or 11th grade, with students who are learning English.
Volunteers would spend 1.5 - 4 hours a week in a classroom. The classroom has a wide variety of ages, so the volunteer would most likely be working with tables, groups, or individual students. The math class would most likely be ELL Pre-Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, or Algebra 2.
The classroom times currently available for volunteers are Monday through Friday:
- Period 2: 9:30 am - 10:45 am
- Period 3: 11:20 am - 12:40 pm
- Period 4: 12:45 pm - 2:00 pm
